Jade Lally has qualified for the discus final at the Commonwealth Games.
Lally finished fifth in Group A during tonight’s qualification round, earning automatic qualification into tomorrow’s [Friday’s] final.
Lally, who has a personal best of 60.76-metres and a 2014 best of 58.25-metres, threw 57.13-metres in Glasgow, leaving plenty in reserve for the final.
The qualification group was won by Australian Dani Samuels with an epic throw of 64.53-metres – more than six metres ahead of second.
