Hey guys, all 10 or so that read these. I’ve decided that actually, these blogs are difficult for me to do and are probably fairly dull to read. I’m not a natural writer (which I’m sure is quite evident!) and I am juggling a few things in normal life and athlete life. So I would like to take a different stance on these blogs. Hopefully more entertaining for both me as the writer and you as the reader.
I think updates are done regularly enough on my social platforms and other people’s social platforms, which leaves this long winded version a bit redundant. Especially as it takes me so long to get round to writing them. Everything is old news. So I would like to try something different. They’ll probably come across mostly as rants and if that’s true, well my usual 10 readers might go down to 7. Which is fine. But they could also grow to a massive 11, and that possibility excites me.
I’d like to write about certain topics that will probably be a bit controversial. I’d like to talk about funding and who deserves what and why. I’d like to talk about who makes teams and who should be making teams. I’m not doing this because I plan to disrespect people. I won’t be naming athletes or anything. But I would like to talk about certain mindsets some people have and their approach to reaching the top of their game, whatever that is defined as. I’d like to be more honest with how I juggle my life and how hard it can get. It’s not all as pretty as I try to make my Insta account look. It’s not all as easy or as fun as it can sometimes look.
I’d like your views on if this would be something you might be inclined to read, more out of interest than anything else.
